08/17/2009 - Ipe Clip® Fastener Company adds Five New Sales Reps

Gaffney, South Carolina (August 17, 2009) – Ipe Clip® Fastener Company has added five new sales representatives to its US sales team over the past month. According to Christopher Shope, the National Sales Manager, "Ipe Clip® is ahead of our sales plan and for good reason. Our distribution channel partners recognize and value the expertise our sales team provides, and we will continue to expand as appropriate to meet their needs." It is because of our commitment to exceptional service that our company has grown despite the current economic climate.

With this in mind, we are especially proud to announce the hiring of five new sales representatives in ten different states across the country: NC, SC GA, TX, LA, ND, SD, MN, IA and CA. It is with great pleasure to introduce Mike Schnyder, Craig Ryan, Britt Inman, Julie Volk and Bill & Nancy Bevacco as the newest additions to the Ipe Clip® Team. They will be helping companies and deck builders across their respective territories realize the importance of using premium quality deck fasteners as well as other deck tools.

Mike Schnyder owner of Green Street Building Products joined Ipe Clip® as a sales representative for North Carolina, South Carolina & Georgia. He is a native of Western NC and a graduate of NC State University. Mike has been in the building and industrial markets for more than 15 years. He has had a long, successful track record in sales management at the district, regional, and national level, while working as a national distributor and major building product manufacturer.  

Craig Ryan joined Ipe Clip® as a sales representative for South Dakota and Iowa. He is native to Minnesota where he currently resides in Faribault. Craig comes from a very diverse background that started with Spiegel and on to Eddie Bauer as a Package Engineering Manager. He then moved on to the SML Group where he served as a sales leader for their printing and labeling line. More recently Craig has been working as a sales representative for GRK fasteners in MN, IA & SD. His sales and management experience will serve as a great asset for Ipe Clip® in his assigned territory.

Britt Inman joined Ipe Clip® as a sales representative for Texas and Louisiana. He was born and raised in the great state of Texas. Britt started his career in college, at the University of Texas, where he worked part time at a lumber yard and has spent the last 28 years working in the building supply & contractor field in one form or another.  He worked his way through the management system and ended up with 15 years of service to McCoy’s Building Supply Center. After leaving McCoy’s, Britt started his own contractor business and more recently has been working with GRK Fasteners since 2002.

Julie Volk joined Ipe Clip® as a sales representative for Minnesota and North Dakota. She is a native to Minnesota and currently resides in Dayton. Julie brings fourteen years of experience as a manufactures representative for paint and sundries products. In 2006, she moved to the building materials industry as a sales representative for GRK Fasteners. Julie is an experienced sales representative who brings great skills to this position.

Bill Bevacco joined Ipe Clip® as a sales representative for California. He brings 40 years of experience from the millwork and lumber industry. His career has taken him from lumber and mill sales to windows and doors. He was also a key player in introducing the Peachtree Window line at a national level.  Bill then settled in California and initially served as a sales manager for a millwork manufacturer. Now he and his wife Nancy work together selling different lines of building products to wholesalers and retail dealers. His experience with lumber and wholesale will serve as a great compliment to the Ipe Clip® line.

Customer satisfaction is a top priority at Ipe Clip®, and we consistently strive to give our customers the very best service in the industry. With their diverse experience, inside and outside of the construction industry, Mike, Craig, Britt, Julie, and Bill will be valuable assets to the company.
