We typically recommend using the Extreme line of fasteners anywhere with harsh climates because the stainless steel insert molded inside the fastener gives you much more hold down strength.

Harsh climates can include anywhere from very hot summers to freezing winters. Anywhere that is extremely humid or dry as well since they humidity can cause cupping issues with decking.
