Our treated wood deck has major rot problems. My husband is going to apply a deck oil next Spring, but the rot has become awfully ugly. I am scared for my kids to enjoy the deck for fear of splinters. I think we should build a new deck with Ipe so that it will last for years to come but it isn't in our budget. My advice to anyone looking to build a deck, spend a little more money and get something that will last.

Ipe Clips are a great way to prevent situations like this. I did my research and chose Ipe Clips for their strength and durability!
