My husband & i wanted to revive the look of our decks. We have an ipe deck off the front of the house with a tigerwood deck on the back that wraps around our pool. We came across this product by recommendation from a friend and were first nervous about how it would hold up around all the pool water. We figured we had tried a few different stains in the past with mediocre results, so why not give the ipe oil a try. We were pleasantly surprised how well and easily it covered the deck boards. One coat, simply rolled on, and the decking looks great. It has been 3 months since we finished the deck, and still holding strong. Great product and we will definitely be using again once it is needed.

Could you use the Ipe Oil on a Red Oak deck? I know that it says for Ipe, Cumaru, and Tigerwood. I thought it might protect my Red Oak too.
